The E.P. has been met with great reviews.
Carmine Debut Single “Autograph”: “I have to admit, the debut of ‘Autograph’ really made me nervous. People really weren’t warming up to the original mix, and I wasn’t a big fan of it either. This made the debut launch on a rough start,” Davis says. “But after a few tweakings and a little time, we finally had a great arrangement and a great sound that the fans and I can live with,” “I love the song so much. It’s totally left field and different; from the lyrical content, to the way I approach the song, to the production - It’s completely original and awesome. I love hearing people singing about something I came up with in my silly-dirty mind!”
Carmine’s First Collaboration, “Dual Sides”, Met with Great Reviews: “Fans tell me all the time how they like the difference in the way Manni Feeq raps and the way I sing. The song came so organically. We took the concept of having ‘Dual Sides’ and ran with it. From the way I sang so light and he rapped in such an angst-driven fashion. I love the production and the songs meaning. I wrote my part, and at that time I was truly going through some shit and I was getting it off my chest,” Davis said. “Dual Sides” has hundreds and growing views on Carmine’s official Youtube account.
Lady Gaga and Beyoncè’s “Telephone” Video Parody by Carmine and friends: During the summer, Cee took to Twitter and revealed he’s doing a parody of the summer smash duet Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s “Telephone”. He later revealed that he was playing Tyrese’s character in the clip. There was no word of a release date. Fast-forward to months later, shortly after the re-release of “Autograph” and the first single off of Cee’s Autograph: The Remix EP “Autograph (Milky Mix)”, the video surfaced and began to see its way on different blogs. “It was a lot of fun! We kinda did it in a SNL fashion! We didn’t take any of it too serious! My friends Alex and Jace were the leading roles of Gaga and Beyoncé! Alex looked scary and Jace made for a horrible frail Beyoncé! I had to fall face first in a plate of syrup! Yuck! It still cracks me up!” Cee told CarmineDaily.com
Carmine’s Charity Work; Including running a 5K Marathon: Although Cee has been hard-working with his music and business moves, he sure hasn’t forgotten his work as a philanthropist. Donating to both the Haiti Quake and Stand Up to Cancer, Cee made it his duty for his fans, friends and family to get involved, also. Cee also took to Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and his Official Website sharing his thoughts and support on a number of political views and causes including AIDS and HIV, Same-Sex Marriage, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, And much more. Also in 2010, Cee took a big step - More like a run - to help find a cure for Breast Cancer. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Carmine and friends set out on a 5K run. Cee dished with CarmineDaily.com that “It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! My friends and I laughed and joked the whole time! We felt such joy bringing such awareness. I was suffering from a stomach issue, but it didn’t stop me from running. When one of us wanted to quit, more than likely it was me, the rest of the group would encourage them to keep going! I’m so glad we did.”
Carmine Holds a Successful Radio Campaign: “I had my first radio interview in a Target bathroom!” Carmine says laughing. “I won’t tell you which station it was with, but I had planned on being at home during it, but we were shopping a little longer than planned, so I had to run to the bathroom to get some quiet, locked the the handicapped toilet door and I did my interview!” “People were walking in listening! By the time I was done, people were looking at me like I was a psycho! But I didn’t care what they thought as long as they didn’t say or take a shit while I was doing my interview!” Cee’s single, “Autograph” and it’s remixes are constantly gaining spins by DJ across the globe months after their release.
Carmine’s Most Anticipated Moves of 2011:
The Documentary: For years Cee’s life has been a mystery. The entertainer has spent all of his life honing his craft, and his time has come. But, no matter how well a song does or how his next business move goes; Cee’s still a 20 year old young man with more than his share of problems. In the as-of-yet untitled rock-dock, Davis reveals facts and secrets that his closest friends and employees don’t even know! No question goes unanswered as you see Cee with his team and family during the prepping of his promo tour and debut album.
Carmine’s Apparrel Line: A rep for Cee has confirmed that he is in fact in the production part of creating an apparrel line that will include necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets and sunglasses. “The line will start off really small. Maybe no more than 20 different pieces. The theme of the line will embody everything Cee: it will be sexy, rockish, and sleek yet fun, easy and positive! Completely eye-catching.” “You will see pieces that are as off the wall and ‘Bizarre’ as Cee is, but there are pieces that anyone can relate to and love. You’ll be able to dress them up for a night on the town or wear them lounging around playing card games with your friends! There are pieces for both male and female and will be no moderately priced for Cee’s fans.” The name of the line and it’s launch date was not revealed. “We’re looking toward a Summer launch, but it could happen in Spring or after the Summer.”
The Autograph Tour: Carmine revealed in the summer of 2010 that he was prepping to head out on a promotional tour. The tour was pushed back for weeks until postponed for 2011. “I wanted to have a great show to take to clubs. I want to wait until I get some great material, some great costumes, a great band or DJ and just a great production,” Davis says of the tour. “I’m writing some amazing material and getting in tour shape. I can’t wait to see my fans on the road, and hopefully make some new ones!”
Carmine’s Next Single: “After a lot of going back and forth, we are at a fork in the road. We are currently bouncing around two amazing tracks to select as the next single,” Silverbullet Management’s Aubrey Lewis shared in an e-mail to CarmineDaily.com “‘Autograph’ was great, but didn’t properly showcase the direction the album is going in! It did a great job of going a different route than what other people were expecting of Cee, but the album he’s currently producing has a different vibe and we want the fans and media to understand where we’re going with ‘Bizarre’. Let us take our time, and we’ll give you guys something amazing!” The single has been confirmed to be released early 2011.
Carmine’s debut album “Bizarre”: “‘Bizarre’ describes my overall outlook on everything on this album. If you look at the definition of the word, it describes me and what I’m trying to do perfectly. I’m trying to be me, and being me means doing something completely different which means it won’t always be safe. The album will be a dance record where I’ll play on my favorite genres like rock, hip-hop, ska and more with an overall techn-pop vibe. I want people to look at the album and listen to it saying ‘Damn! Every song on this album is a repeater!’ I don’t want any fat on it! We were supposed to be ready by 1-11-11, but I wasn’t totally sure the direction, but now I am. I’m looking towards a summer release… Maybe even a fall or winter date, like 11-11-1!”
